I know. It's been a ridiculous amount of time since I've blogged. Real life things have nearly had my head spinning so blogging got put on the back burner.

Sean's 11th Birthday!
Christmas!
Kids got the normal clothes. Some video games and books. The girls each got American Girl Dolls and Sean got cash and lots of Legos.

Those are the biggest events. Keeping me from posting individually about that, was the fact that in October/November 2012, I took over as Leader of our GS Troop. Then topped that insanity by continuing to be the Cookie Chair/Mom. I had already committed to Cookie Chair. Taking over the Troop, pretty much blindsided by that.
So, I've been trying to get our Troop organized and such. Growing our Troop. Learning the necessary things. Doing the Cookie thing. It's pretty much been all I've done. Seriously. BUT I see progress! Our Troop has grown form 5 girls to 12! Daisies, Brownies, a Junior, and a Cadette! I've been working out plans for each of these groups to choose from. A few girls are even going to bridge to the next level so I've been learning requirements for that.
More recently, Sean has been preparing to leave Cub Scouts and got to Boy Scouts! Seems like only yesterday he was a Cub Scout Bear. The first year he joined and the first year we thought this could be good for him AND that he could do it. Before that, his and our struggles to understand all he was going through was just overwhelming.
We're pretty much on the adventure of life. I just hope I can stop and take time to enjoy it and maybe blog a bit.
Oh and I've been getting SPAM comments on this post. You won't see them cause they're not published but I thought it was funny. And worth a blurb of mention. =P
